After I gave Oliver and Carter the same number of star stickers each, I had 15 stars left.” Oliver grinned and said, “That was fair!” Carter nodded, tapping his notebook. Dylan leaned closer, curious about how many stars each friend received. Rosie kept writing, listening to the quiet scratch of pencils and the soft rustle of paper in the cosy corner.
