Quadratic-style expansions: if the expression includes bracket × bracket, expand fully and methodically.

  • Multiply each term in the first bracket by each term in the second.
  • Write all resulting terms before combining anything.
  • Then collect like terms into a final simplified polynomial.

Common trap: forgetting one of the middle terms when expanding two brackets.
