Medium grids usually require more than one step before a blank becomes solvable.

Best approach:

  • Fill any row/column with only one blank first.
  • If no single-blank lines exist, look for a row that can be expressed algebraically (e.g. one blank depends on another).
  • Solve logically rather than by guesswork.
