Each correct answer gives a number. Use the scrambled letter map to translate those numbers into letters. The five letters you uncover form an anagram – solve it to unlock the codeword. Round normally to get to a rational number, if needed.

Translation clues: the map might look “scrambled” on purpose — your job is simply to match your solved number to its mapped letter.

  • Solve each formula (expand, simplify, isolate, compute).
  • Find the number in the map and write down its letter.
  • Repeat until you have your anagram pool.

If you get stuck on the anagram: look for common endings like -ED, -ER, -ING, or common pairs like TH, ER, IN.
